SA’s Nashua Mobile extend retail footprint through partnership with Look & Listen

South Africa’s Nashua Mobile, an independent telecommunications service provider, has announced it will be extending its retail footprint through a partnership with Look & Listen, one of the largest specialist entertainment retail chains in South Africa.

Cresta Shopping Centre in Johannesburg saw the first Nashua Mobile concept store within a Look & Listen outlet being opened on November 7. This was followed by another one at the Clearwater Mall in Johannesburg on November 14.

The telecommunications company says that a national rollout is planned over the next few months.

Mark Taylor, CEO of Nashua Mobile, said: “With 28 stores in prime retail locations, Look & Listen is a great partner for us as we deliver on our strategy to extend our retail footprint. There is a natural fit between our telecoms products and services, and the selection of consumables, devices and peripherals on offer at Look & Listen, which means that the combination of our brands will offer a fantastic shopping experience for our joint customers.”

The new partnership will enable both companies to grow their customer bases and extend their brands into new markets. Customers will be able to buy mobile devices and sign up for voice and data contracts from all of South Africa’s major mobile networks through Nashua Mobile at Look & Listen stores around the country.

Look & Listen is quickly establishing itself as a digital lifestyle retailer and has a strong brand Nashua Mobile is proud to associate with, Taylor added.

CEO of Look & Listen Darren Levy said: “We are delighted to extend our digital and technology offering to include Nashua Mobile’s full service cellular offering. We will provide innovative offers that leverage our respective products and appeal to our existing and new customers.”

The companies are working on a range of innovative bundles that combine their services and products to differentiate themselves in the market.
