The special post-SoNa Google+ Hangout, the website says, is “part of an ongoing series, to open the floor for a lively public discussion”.
Among the participants on the Hangout will be Chester Missing, political analyst and puppet on LNN on eNCA and Eusebius McKaiser, analyst, author and Talk Radio 702 host.
But Google South Africa were quick to point out that “this won’t be the first time President Zuma has been at the forefront of political discussion via online platforms. In 2012, Jacob Zuma was interviewed by Redi Tlhabi in a special live Google+ Hangout in the Talk Radio 702’s studios in Johannesburg.
“During the Hangout, ordinary South Africans were given the opportunity to send through questions via Twitter and SMS and have then answered by the President. Now, any interested members of the public can discuss the future of the country with experts and decipher the challenges and opportunities together.”
People are encouraged to send their “toughest questions” and join the Hangout by signing up and sending M&G their questions.
