The competition seeks to find and acknowledge bloggers in Kenya who post useful content on a regular basis and demonstrate innovation.
The winners will be presented with their awards at a gala event on May 4.
The Kenyan public was invited to submit their favourite blogs over the course of a two month period, following which a panel of judges examined all the entries and decided upon three nominees for each of the fifteen award categories.
The final decision is then cast over to the public, who are asked to vote online to determine the winner of each category - with the online voting system currently still live.
This year’s panel of judges comprised Pinky Ghelani, Juliana Rotich, Erik Hersman, and Philip Mwaniki.
BAKE is a community of online content creators, formed with the aims of encouraging online content creation and improving the quality of blogging in Kenya.
