Found in Ikeja Mall, Lagos, the shop is meant to increase accessibility to official Apple products in Nigeria and allow consumers to speak to Apple specialists for advice on purchases and technical problems.
"This one-of-a-kind retail store will welcome its' first customers and make it more convenient for Nigerians to purchase Apple products and accessories," Apple said.
The African iStore retail concept was first launched in South Africa which currently has 13 stores in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town and Durban.
Rutger-Jan van Spaandonk, Executive Director of iStore, said Apple is glad to commence business operations in Nigeria.
