The partnership is strategic for both companies and leverages TeleCommunication Systems’ strength in developing and implementing LBS technology, as well as Cellfind’s wide experience in identifying mobile technologies and bringing them to the African market.
Cellfind’s managing director Jacques Swanepoel said the partnership will bring a low-cost but effective solution to the market.
The partnership creates a hosted end-to-end location based solutions (LBS) and can use wireless networks for the services. TeleCommunication will integrate its solutions with Cellfind’s LBS application.

Cellfind also deploys LBS in South Africa including in tracking of mobile workforce.
