According to various complaints on the company’s social media page the problem seems to have been affecting a number of areas in Nairobi.
The problems seems to have started around 9am today and are ongoing at the time of publication.
Efforts by the company to reconnect to its backup seem not to have worked despite the company having assured users of efforts to bring connection back since morning.

According to food startup Yum, which receives orders online, the outage has affected their operations, with the majority of orders getting to the client late.
“We have complaints from clients that they are receiving their food up to an hour late. The delay is as a result of that we are using restricted bandwidth yet our website requires a lot of bandwidth to support our work. We have been really affected.” operations manager Anthony Gitobu told HumanIPO.
HumanIPO’s office in Nairobi relies on the operator for connectivity and has also had to switch to other operators for backup as the problem persists.
This is the second time in a number of days there has been prolonged outage from the provider.
@EllieMusibi kindly note we can not give a definite time as to when it will be solved. Please be patient as we resolve the issue.Thanks. *AM
