Orange AFCON app release challenges social media

Share Tweet
International network operator Orange has released an official Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) app, 'Orange AFCON, SOUTH AFRICA 2013', containing updates offered by social media networks.

Orange AFCON offers users access to exclusive video content of the matches, competing against the coverage offered by social communities like Twitter, Facebook and YouTube.

An AFCON Facebook page, Twitter feed and MyAfricanFootball Channel on YouTube will all be keeping football fans in the loop.

Available at the iTune App Store and Google Play, the app is free to download.

The app was launched by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) in collaboration with exclusive marketing and TV agent SPORTFIVE Africa and is sponsored by Orange and Pepsi.

AFCON, Africa’s biggest sporting event, kicked off yesterday (Friday).
