AllThingsD cites sources familiar with the matter, though LinkedIn, the world’s largest professional network, has declined to comment.
Pulse launched in 2010 and last year reached 20 million users, who read over 10 million stories per day between them. So far, it has raised US$9 million in funding, while it recently added social and video feeds to its services and partnered with Microsoft for a web app version.
AllThingsD reports Microsoft and Yahoo have also shown interest in Pulse, though their sources say a deal with LinkedIn could be announced by next week.
