The conference will be held at the Westin Hotel, in Cape Town, from July 9-10, and is expected to attract more than 300 attendees, 60-plus speakers and 30 operator case studies.
Confirmed speakers include Alan Knott-Craig Sr, chief executive officer (CEO) of Cell C, Wilgon Berthold Tsibo, chief technical officer at Equateur Telecom in Congo, and Charles Matondane, head of VAS and mobile internet at Vodacom Tanzania.

According to research carried out by Informa, there will be 40.5 million LTE subscribers on the continent by 2017. There were just 0.3 million subscribers in 2012.
