This was disclosed by the chairman of the Niger Delta Young Professionals, Moses Siasia, who said the event will take place on May 28 and 29 in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state capital.
The event, he said, is aimed at promoting entrepreneurship as well as tackling economic challenges in the oil rich region.
The governor of Akwa Ibom state, Godswill Akpabio, expressed his administration’s support for the summit. He also advised the youth of the region to become deeply committed to their chosen professions and vocations, and thanked them for shunning the acts of militancy that once enveloped the region.
