According to the report, which profiles the top five telecom operations management market share vendors, Ericsson ranked first worldwide for Operations Support Systems (OSS), Business Support Systems (BSS) and Next-Generation Service Delivery and Provisioning solutions.
The other firms in the top five list are Accenture, IBM, Huawei and Amdocs.
Per Borgklint, Head of Ericsson’s Business Unit Support Solutions, said: “Over the past two years, Ericsson has made strategic acquisitions and investments to position the company as a market leader in telecom operations management.
“Today, we are very proud Ericsson has been named the worldwide leader in Gartner’s telecom operations management systems report and believe this was a direct result of our strategy and efforts.”
