Kenyan photographer launches wallpaper app for Android

Renowned Kenyan photographer Mutua Matheka has launched his mobile wallpaper app for Android devices.

 


The application launched today is part of Matheka’s Wallpaper Monday project, which will provide new wallpaper images from his photographic collections every Monday.


“I have wanted these wallpapers to be available as far as possible to as many as possible. For most like me who couldn’t find cool African wallpaper to use on our computers and mobiles, this is what ‘Wallpaper Monday’ is all about,” Matheka said.


Since the launch of Wallpaper Monday around two-and-a-half years ago, the site has seen more than 100,000 downloads of various wallpaper images.
