JamboPay will facilitate the payment infrastructure on FargoShopping, supporting various payment channels, including M-Pesa, Yu Cash and Mastercard.
There will also be real time reporting to help merchants in the reconciling process and provide security in the transactions.
Crista Cullen, FargoShopping sales and market manager, said Kenyans have taken up online shopping as they get too busy at work and have to fight traffic.
“At Fargo courier we are excited about this new opportunity to facilitate the sale of quality products from the top retailers in Kenya and provide a service of convenience to our customers,” said Cullen.
“Kenya is progressing at such a rate that many people today are too busy to visit shops, fight with the traffic and worry about parking so finally here is something that can take all that hassle out of your day.”
Cullen added the new partnership allows customers in rural areas to do shopping in major shopping malls while offering retailers who cannot offer their own websites a place to sell their products.
“For individual retailers, designers and artists who up to now could not afford their own online website with e-commerce this is now available at no charge,” said Cullen.
Following the unveiling, FargoShopping has more than 70 outlets on the platform and shoppers can use collection points or depots nationwide
