The group’s commercial, internal and corporate communication will now all be branded under the Orange identity.
Stéphane Richard, chief executive of Orange, said: “Our group has shown that it is able to adapt to today’s competitive and global environment.”
The groups’ name change is being supported through a communications campaign that emphasises the connections made between France Telecom and Orange.
It is focused on the influence they have on digital technology and how it will impact on people’s lives.
The campaign film is going to be used in countries where Orange operates in Africa, Europe and the Middle East.
Béatrice Mandine, executive vice president of communication and brand at Orange, said it is an opportunity for them to step back into the limelight and reaffirm the group’s mission.
Orange is a leading provider of global IT and telecommunication services.
