The channels SuperSport 5HD and 6HD will only be available to premium bouquet subscribers and will go live from Tuesday, July 23.
SuperSport 5HD, channel 215, will focus on motorsports, boxing, swimming and athletics and also act as an overflow channel.

“With an impressive line-up of leagues including the PSL, SuperSport will be showcasing the best international leagues on this growing and highly demanded HD platform,” said Happy Ntshingila, SuperSport chief executive officer (CEO).
Also going live on July 23 is SuperSport 8, channel 208, which will cater for locally produced and sourced content such as the varsity athletics series and school sports.
HumanIPO reported yesterday DStv will not be broadcasting popular sport channels ESPN and ESPN Classic from the end of July.
