The laptop devices come with a host of features including large memory and storage capacity, HD graphics and Windows 8.
Orange also announced the Notebook will have a one year international warranty and will retail between KSh42,999 (US$505) and KSh56,999 (US$670).
The laptops, from the VivoBook range, will be available at select Orange shops in Nairobi, Mombasa and Kisumu. They will be sold as standalone units, or bundled with either a 3G or a CDMA modem.
Mickael Ghossein, Orange Kenya chief executive officer (CEO), said the partnership with ASUS is in line with the firm’s data strategy.
The partnership with ASUS comes a week after the company announced its focus on the innovation of comprehensive products and solutions that assure the market of quality service and value for money.
