Speaking at the EMC Forum in Lagos today, Jimoh described the company’s growth since it started its operations in Nigeria with two employees in 2008, to a position where it now has 20 fully badged EMC employees.
Furthermore, he said the company has moved to a larger office in Lagos from its previously small cubicle.
Jimoh added the company now has a spare parts depot in Lagos, which is needed to bring support services closer to its customers in Nigeria who need hardware replacement.
Jimoh said they have clientele both in the public and private sectors.
He later told HumanIPO the company’s growth rate in Nigeria is faster than other West African countries, especially Ghana.
“This is largely as a result of the size of the market in Nigeria. The Nigerian economy is also bigger,” Jimoh said.
