The directives of the digital imaging company’s Middle Eastern office will focus on providing its new and existing partners and clients with channel and marketing development services in Kenya, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Somalia, Uganda, Burundi and Rwanda.
“The establishment of Canon Kenya Limited will broaden our ability to invest in the African markets,” said Canon Middle East in a statement.
Canon’s East Africa operations were previously managed by the company’s office in South Africa.
Now two channel account managers will be appointed for the Kenyan subsidiary and will oversee ground support to tier two distributors in East Africa dealing with specific markets.
