An anonymous Samsung employee, speaking to the New York Times, said when users read articles and their eyes reach the bottom of the page, the page would automatically scroll down to the next paragraphs.
The Galaxy S IV press conference is scheduled to take place in New York on March 14, and the employee reportedly said the software developments “outweighed the importance of the hardware”.
Samsung has filed for “Eye Scroll” trademarks in Europe and the United States.
It was described as: “Computer application software having a feature of sensing eye movements and scrolling displays of mobile devices, namely, mobile phones, smartphones and tablet computers according to eye movements; digital cameras; mobile telephones; smartphones; tablet computers.”
