HumanIPO reported yesterday the new BlackBerry Q10 smartphone will become available to South African customers via Vodacom from Thursday, May 2.
BlackBerry 10 launched with 70,000 apps as a strategic move to compete against iOS and Android, with apps including eBay, Twitter and Facebook, as well as South African app PriceCheck.
So far, however, Skype - which is owned by Microsoft - has been missing. It is now set to be available on the Q10, though users of the Z10 will need to wait a few weeks more.
