J.T. Wang, chairman at Acer, revealed his forecasts after an annual shareholder meeting today (Wednesday).
In April, Wang said he expected 80 per cent of Acer products to consist of touch screen technology gadgets by 2014 to 2015, Reuters reported.
The company hopes to boost its sales with new devices as PC orders recently hit a record low since 2009.
Sales dropped with 19 per cent within five months, compared with figures from the same period in 2012.
Acer launched its first tablet and smartphone earlier this month.
