In an advertisement by the accelerator programme, The Growth Hub says it is seeking early stage entrepreneurs in various sectors, particularly energy and environmental sustainability, mobile and IT, financial services and essential services.
Successful startups will benefit from access to seed funding of up to $100,000, mentorship and networking, working space, workshops and access to investors.
In the Idea 2 innovation programme 8 to twelve startups are targeted, which will be incubated for three to four months.
“The structure of the programme will provide them with the tools they need to successfully build and test their products and services into the market. Also looking at the bigger picture and long term plan of how they can be successful,” reads a statement on The Growth Hub website.
Applications are due by July 15, as the programme is set to start in August 1.
The second programme, Innovation-to-Impact, seeks to address the issues of moving from having a proof of concept for a product or service to building a business to support the effective and continuous delivery of it to the identified target segments.
The application for this programme ends on August 1, with the selection process set for the first week of September and the investor pitching session for December.
