Bespoke Systems, Health E-net, Ma3route and MyOrder Enterprise (Weza Tele) all focus on mobile apps and hope to win this year’s award.
Bespoke Systems is an e-med clinic management system that seeks to solve the problem of patients lacking consolidated medical records.
The company aims to provide electronic records that are affordable and also offer access to a central database. The use of the software as a service costs KSh10 per patient per day.
The Health-E-net software aims to solve “Kenya’s supply and demand problem”. It gives patients the second opinion solution. The patient shares information with E-net while they connect with the remote doctor’s opinion.
Deviating from the health theme, Ma3Route aims to solve the traffic problem in Nairobi by providing crowd sourced information on traffic. It sends traffic updates, reports on bad driving reports and routes fares.
MyOrder Enterprise connects retailers with distributors by offering an SMS ordering service and ensures payments.
The four went through a three panel judge scrutiny with questions after each presentation. The winner will be announced at the end of the conference.
