Tigo products manager Husni Seif said in the three days since the start of the promotion, there had been more than 2.5 million entries and the figure is expected to rise.
He said that on a normal day, approximately 600,000 people load airtime of different amounts in a day citing that on Friday alone, the figure had clocked 953,369.
To be part of the promotion, customers recharge with TZSH1,000 (US$0.62) airtime.
