The WeeJeeLearning platform, a product of global leader in custom e-learning solutions WeejeeLearning, customises a range of applications including video, illustrations and graphics, narrations, infographics and maps.
The company specialises in “highly interactive e-learning, instructional design, mobile learning, and strategies for social learning and community building”.
An undisclosed global environmental organisation, an international humanitarian agency and a public health and development organisation will be looking to adopt these solutions. They will use the technology to initiate training and learning.
“We were able to provide some clarity around today’s myriad options for e-learning,” Ian Huckabee, CEO of WeejeeLearning, said, adding that given the rapid pace at which communications technologies are evolving, these organisations found themselves stretched between both old and new technologies.
“We took the approach of educating and inspiring them so they could better evaluate the difference between great e-learning solutions and mediocre ones. And then we helped create a road map for e-learning that would work across the organization,” he said.
“We’ve had success with our non-profit and NGO clients because we share a passion for what they do,” said Tracy Bissette, Weejee’s Chief Learning Architect and co-founder. “It’s really gratifying to be able to work with them and carry out the learning development details so they can focus on their mission.”
Ambient Insight recently reported that e-learning revenues will rise by 100 percent to US$512.7 million by 2016. The continent has favoured electronic means of passing information due to the expense and limitations of physical learning, either through books or guides.
