Starting May 17, attendees will be guided through startup launch training with mentor support and idea inspiration.
A first for South Africa, the event will take place in the Bandwidth Barn in Woodstock, Cape Town until Sunday, May 19.
Simon Jenner, mentor at Launch48, said: “Launch48 is a valuable part of the startup ecosystem and anyone interested in becoming an entrepreneur should look to attend.”
Jenner believes this session is a helpful experience for any entrepreneurial career.
In addition to included meals, attendees will also be treated to a goodie bag filled with helpful tools to roll out their businesses.
The contents include software and other tools valued at US$4,500 as sponsored by Google, among other enterprises.
Jenner, also chief executive officer at Oxygen Accelerator, motivated Oxygen’s sponsorship: “We know they have been forced to focus on what really matters in a startup.”
Online registration at ZAR400 (US$44) per person for a limited 100 attendees is open until the event starts, on May 17 at 5pm.
Launch48 hosts an array of events across five continents in collaboration with various organisations of its kind, such as Bluefields, Hipsnip and Unifyo.
