Emmanouil Revmatas, business head, hand held products at Samsung Electronics West Africa, said the offer is a demonstration of their commitment to innovation and efficient consumer-oriented service.
The warranty will cover screen and liquid damages to the Galaxy S4 device.
"A world first from the level of a device manufacturer, the warranty includes two free repairs in the event of accidental damage to the screen of the device,” he said.
He noted the offer is available to individuals who bought the device from Samsung stores and accredited dealers.
He described the new device as an improvement over the Galaxy S3 that he said revolutionised mobile communication in 2012.
