Running over two days in Cape Town, from April 17, and in Johannesburg from April 24, the course will educate subscribers about digital marketing trends, objectives, causes and includes a campaign toolkit at ZAR5,400 (US$585).
The course has been revised to address specific needs, whereas previously only presented to corporate teams.
Mike Perk, co-founder of the Heavy Chef initiative, told HumanIPO: “The course has been getting a lot of interest lately.”
The company have recently presented training sessions with well-known names such as Woolworths Financial Services, New Media Publishing and Virgin Mobile.
Regarding the previouses courses aimed at corporate teams, Brigid McCarney, managing director at New Media Publishing, said: “The Heavy Chef Course was significant in up-skilling all employees and critical to ensuring we continue to provide the most effective marketing solutions for our clients."
In its fifth year of existence, The Heavy Chef Team equips attendees with new tools for marketing in social media, Pay Per Click advertising (PPC), search engine optimisation (SEO), online advertising, link building, community management and reputation monitoring.
HumanIPO reported earlier this month on the business organisation’s March event in Johannesburg where Woolworths shared some online marketing tips.
The Heavy Chef started as a side project of World Wide Creative, and later became a business, presenting events to inform, educate, equip and enlighten the communities in South Africa and England.
