Microsoft has revealed an increase of 100 per cent in app downloads since the launch of the Windows Phone 8, with paid app revenue increasing by nearly 140 per cent.
In a blog post the company also revealed it had added 15 new mobile operator billing partners since last August, surpassing Google Play with 25 partners in 19 markets.
It also revealed that this week it will enable developer payout in six more markets, taking the supporter developer payout to 122 markets in total.
