The 30 day promotion that is open to both prepaid and postpaid customers and will see one of its lucky customers win a grand prize of KSh10 million (US$120,000) while another 30 winners will receive KSh1 million daily (US$12,000).
Many more of its customers will have a chance to win daily cash and airtime prizes ranging between KSh1,000 (US$12) and KSh100,000 (US$1,190).

It is our way of saying thank you to our over 19 million customers for their support and loyalty. We do not take our customers for granted and this is one of our many ways of expressing our gratitude.”
Participation for the draw is automatic and will be based on airtime top ups for customers on prepaid and usage for those in postpaid.
Customers will earn one point for top ups below KSh20 shillings while top ups of above KSh1,000 will attract a maximum 100 points.
Customers who attain 1,000 points will be automatically awarded a one off airtime bonus worth KSh1,000.
Safaricom has also announced that winners of cash prizes above KSh100,000 will be contacted through a specific promotional number to eliminate fraudsters while winners of KSh10,000 and below will be notified through SMS and the money sent through M-PESA.
The promotion runs from May 8 to June 6.
