Adedeji also encouraged the bank's customers to desist from carrying cash around especially during vacations and holidays.
According to him, the bank is taking the issue of security seriously and is deploying several tools.
"We have deployed advanced intelligence tools to monitor our customers' transaction behaviors and will quickly alert them of anything suspicious," Adedeji said.
The bank on Monday also revealed it has several card options for its customers who want to travel to any part of the world on holiday.
They include UBA Prepaid Card, UBA Debit MasterCard, UBA Gold Debit MasterCard and UBA Visa Dual Currency Debit Card.
Adedeji said: “With UBA card, our customers don’t need to carry cash while going on summer holidays because they have different options to choose from.
“UBA's PTA/BTA Customers can get the prepaid card for free and are able to spend up to US$40,000 per annum on their card. The card is not tied to any bank account and is internationally accepted at all Visa acceptance points (ATMs, POS and Web).”
