HumanIPO reported earlier today Marian Shinn, shadow minister of communications for the Democratic Alliance (DA), claimed the docket was missing and blamed it on the SAPS, saying they had either lost it or are failing to perform their duties.
Paul Ramaloko, a representative of the Hawks, responded to Shinn’s statement, which she made after she reportedly could not obtain any information from the police or the Hawks on the progress of the investigation despite the many calls she made and the emails she sent out
“The matter is now in our hands. We are continuing with investigations,” Eye Witness News (EWN) quoted Ramaloko as saying.
Pule is also being investigated by the parliament’s ethics committee as well as the public protector.
Pule was removed as communications minister earlier this month when President Jacob Zuma reshuffled his cabinet. Yunus Carrim was appointed as South Africa’s new minister of communications.
