An 11-inch display Android-based Yoga notebook, is currently being manufactured by Lenovo and will be released in May,Digitimes reported.
According to Intel, Android-operating notebooks will be for sale at an estimated price of US$500.
The device will resemble similar features as a tablet, with the need of a detachable keyboard.
The Lenovo website currently features the IdeaTab tablet with a choice between Android and Windows as the platform.
Similar releases by Toshiba, Acer, Asustek Computer and Hewlett-Packard (HP) will follow later in 2013.
HumanIPO reported earlier this month on complaints against Android’s pricing from a number of companies, including Microsoft.
