Bridget Chukwumah, head of retail for West Africa at BlackBerry, said during the campaign the company will be offering some its customers several giveaway prizes such as accessories for BlackBerry 10 and 7.1 devices between June 21 and July 21.
According to Chukwumah, the campaign will be held in various key locations in Lagos, Port Harcourt and Abuja.
“Customers will be informed on how to identify authentic devices and they will learn about the benefits of buying genuine BlackBerry products in terms of customer support and warranties,” she said.
Another feature of the campaign she said is the opportunity for BlackBerry users to have the software on their devices updated to the latest version.
There will also be a demonstration on how to identify BlackBerry devices that had been designed specifically for the Nigerian market.
Other features include the company’s After Sales Care Repair Centres and Authorized Collection Points (ACPs) currently operational in Lagos, Port Harcourt, and Abuja.
