Apple distributor Core Group Africa has launched the iPad Air in Nigeria, following launches in Ghana and South Africa in recent weeks.
The latest iPad can be bought with Wi-Fi and cellular compatibility in ‘space grey’ or silver and ranges from the 16GB to 128GB size.
It comes with a 9.7-inch Retina display and weighs less than 500 grams. It is 20 per cent thinner than the fourth generation iPad.
Core Group Africa, which recently launched the device in Ghana and South Africa, said it had already started selling the iPad Air at authorised Apple stores in Lagos and the rest of the country.
Rutger-Jan van Spaandonk, director at Core Group Africa, said: “We are delighted to announce the official availability of iPad Air in Nigeria. iPad Air is unbelievably thin and light and we encourage customers to visit their nearest Apple Authorised Reseller to purchase or experience this life-changing product.”
