Nokia has announced the imminent arrival of the six-inch Lumia 1320 in South Africa, just months after the launch of the Lumia 1520 and affordable Asha models.
The smartphone features HERE Drive navigation services and Nokia MixRadio, giving users unlimited music streaming capabilities.
The Lumia 1320 will be available from all major operators in May for a monthly contract free of ZAR199 (US$19) or for a ZAR4,499 (US$424) one-off payment.
“Like the Lumia 520, we believe the 1320 has a brilliant combination of hardware features and software experiences at a very compelling price. There is a definitely movement in the market towards larger screened smartphones, and the Windows Phone user interface really looks great with the extra screen real estate,” said Shaun Durandt, general manager of Nokia South Africa.
The smartphone’s camera integrates three imaging modes – Pro, Smart and video – into one experience. It also features Nokia Storyteller, allowing a user to integrate images with HERE location services to create a chronological photo story on a map.
