Microsoft holds Current Issues in Technology Conference in Lagos

Microsoft’s Current Issues in Technology Conference takes place this week in Lagos, set to be attended by business leaders, key influencers and policymakers to discuss and develop solutions for issues holding back Nigeria’s ICT.

The conference is taking place on June 4-5 at the Oriental Hotel, Lagos.

“At Microsoft we believe that for Nigeria to fulfill its potential some of the constraints facing the ICT industry need to be addressed. Constraints such as inadequate technical infrastructure, lack of skills, cost of devices and inadequate policy and regulatory framework,” Microsoft said.

Panellists expected at the conference include Microsoft chief technology officer (CTO) Olayinka Oni, Computer Warehouse Group chief executive officer (CEO) Austin Okere, Interswitch managing director Mitchell Elegbe, and TechnoVision CEO Tomi Davies.
