Airtel Zambia has scooped this year’s first prize in the ICT sector at the just concluded Zambia International Trade Fair held in Ndola.
The telecom was awarded by Zambia’s republican vice-president Dr Guy Scott, who was accompanied by minister of commerce, trade and industry honourable Robert Sichinga and Ndola mayor Samuel Munthai.
Speaking after receiving the award, Airtel Networks Zambia head of corporate communications and government relations Yuyo Kambikambi said her company had done its utmost best to represent the Trade Fair theme of the year, which was ‘Showcasing 50 Years of Business Transformation and Development”.
“We believe that communication is vital as business in Zambia continues to develop and change. We are here to stay and will continue providing the best services and products that help make Zambia more connected,” Kambikambi said.
