Nigerian local search engine VConnect.com has announced the launch of a discounted deals platform, deals.vconnect.com, saying the new platform will be a game-changer in the country’s online commerce market.
According to VConnect, the development of the deals platform was prompted by the demand from consumers wishing to make easy and stress-free purchase decisions, whilst also having access to discounts.
“Consumers looking for good deals can now end their search with the Deals.vconnect.com discount deals site as they stand to get unrivalled discounts at ease from the site,” said Ayo Akinsiku, business development manager for VConnect Global Services.

To use the website, customers must select a deal and sign in, and a coupon code will be sent to their mobile phone immediately. This code can be used at the point of collection to pick up the goods and/or services requested at the discounted rate.
“It is important to note that pre-payment is not required. Also an individual is free to change his or her mind as regards the purchase of any goods or service,” Akinsiku said.
