South Africa’s SecureData appoints new chief

Miles Crisp has been appointed as SecureData’s new chief executive officer. He will assume his duties on August 1, 2012.

The JSE-listed information risk management group, SecureData (SDH) also announced that the interim CEO, Johan du Toit, will seize to be the chief executive on the same day but will continue in his role as the company’s financial director.
Crisp is a chartered accountant (SA) by qualification.
His work experience includes recently being interim managing director for SecureData Africa. He was initially the chief executive of O´Keeffe & Swartz Consulting Proprietary Limited.
He has also served as a member of the Deliotte & Touche South African executive comittee for approximately five years and was a founding partner of Anderson Rochussen Crisp (Chartered Accountants (SA)).
It is expected that he will continue to steer the company in a positive direction and increase its profits.
