Kenya’s capital city Nairobi will host this year’s Information and Technology (IT) leaders East Africa forum scheduled for September 5 and 6 at Intercontinental Hotel.
The 2-day forum has attracted international business to business company, Kenya ICT Board and Kenya Information Technology and Outsourcing Services (Kitos) in conjunction with Kinetic Events.
2012 agenda will highlight on the challenges facing entrepreneurs in African ICT sector and limiting them from reaching the international standards and technological progress.
The objective would be to determine the efficient solution in managing IT projects for betterment of commerce growth and innovation using resources available for investment.
Participants will have a chance of sharing ideas on their experience, networking between themselves and government officials concern in decision making and different views from invited international speakers as set up in 2011, courtesy of Kenya ICT Board.
It will be an interactive forum drawn from various topics of IT in enhancing entrepreneur to a wider perspective outlook of the industry.
The first edition was held last year with the main focus on ‘use of IT to transform business industry.’ Chief information officers, chief financial officers and chief executives in east africa met and shared ideas.
Invited guests include speakers from East African Breweries, Tiger Brands , Kenya Airways NIC Bank, Access Bank, Mumias Sugar Company, Nation Media Group, National Oil, NEPAD ,Nairobi Stock Exchange among others graced the occasion .
