Yookos has launched a job site for youth in Africa and in the Diaspora.
In a post on Naija Tech Blog, Yookos’ chief executive Mr. Tomisin Fashina said Yookos aims at reaching over 20 million active users by the end of 2012.
He said the social network was designed to reach Africa’s entire population despite differences in religion, political ideals, gender or location.
“This is a meeting place for all Africans to come and be educated, entertained, and interact. We are also seeing more and more other organisations using Yookos as a platform to reach their communities, and we’re hoping to grow that significantly as well,” Fashina further stated.
The newly launched job portal is in line with the developer firm’s efforts to reach the whole population.
The jobs site, “Yookos Jobs” will connect the youth in Africa and across the world.
Yookos Jobs is hosted on Yookos.com platform and features job opportunities and real time career guides focused on the youths in Africa and in the diaspora.
It was launched as an online church platform but has transformed into an interactive social network for the online global community.
