South Africa’s leading full-fledged digital agency Prezence Digital is set to later this month launch a student support initiative branded ‘10Teams/10Brands/10Grand,’ to mark its tenth anniversary.
Prezence Digital offers mobile, Web, digital campaigns, social media and apps development and management in the South African market. Initially, it focused on the country’s video and music industries.
The new initiative, according to Prezence Digital will help see it create teams that will mentor 10 student teams that will come up with a digital campaign for the country’s 10 deserving charities.
The winning team members will share R10 000 (approx. $1,200) prize money, and the best team member, an internship at Prezence Digital.
Prakash Patel Prezence Digital CEO told Venture Burn the company has grown and thrived for the past 10 years due to its creative digital talent.
“It made sense to us that the best way to celebrate our birthday was to create an opportunity for the next generation of talent to flex their creative muscles,” Patel was quoted saying.
During Nelson Mandela’s 94th birthday, Prezence Digital carried out a successful digital campaign for the MandelaStory after its endorsement by the Nelson Mandela Foundation.
Prezence Digital was first established in the UK in 1998, and expanded into South Africa in 2002.
