88mph-funded startup Tusqee Systems has launched an online application branded Sematime that enables users to send bulk SMS, bills and invoices.
The application supports SMS branding, 480-character text message and allows users to send unlimited SMS.
The app in addition requires no installation and features a dashboard, an address book, messages section and an e-bills section. The features are simplified and users can log in and use the service in less than a minute.
The Dashboard allows one to add contacts, send SMS, send eBills, manage user accounts as well as buy SMS units. Contacts are added to an address book, and can synchronize with the contacts from an Excel sheet. For one to send messages however, he will need SMS units awarded or purchased from the site.
Multiple Account Users enables an account holder or an appointed agent to run a firm’s or individual’s account. Corporate accounts have a dedicated account representative. Sematime also comes with SMS delivery reports on the delivery status of all messages and the ebills sent.
According to the firm, the new SMS service will make it easy for users to communicate or send bills and invoices via SMS. Firms can choose free SMS branding enabling their text messages to bear a trade name.
Sematime software is in three packages. A free package called the Starter is ideal for individuals and allows only 1000 contacts. It can also be imported from an Excel sheet.
Pro is the second package at KSh5999 per month although firms can have a free trial service for thirty days. Pro allows unlimited contacts, free SMS branding, Supports long SMS of up to 480 characters, allows contacts import from Excel, supports SMS e bills.
Pro can be used to up to 5 account users and comes with 2, 200 free SMS units with full SMS status reporting. Tusquee System gives phone, email support and on-site training.
Enterprise, the third package, is at KSh11,999 a month, ideal for corporate use. The software package has a dedicated account representative and allows for 10 users with unlimited SMS units.
Tusqee Systems emerged top at last year’s IPO48 challenge winning € 25 000 from 88mph investment fund. The firm’s premier product SchoolSMS has made it easy and affordable for schools to send end-term performance reports and fee balances records to parents via SMS. It also allows schools to inform parents on closing and opening dates, or parents-teachers meetings.
