Global provider of enterprise grade satellite communications ITC Global yesterday announced it is now in full acquisition of ITC Guinee SARL, a Guinea-based firm, after acquiring the remaining10 percent interest.
ITC Global now owns 100 percent of ITC Guinee SARL. Its new acquisition will see it continue offering comprehensive networking solutions on a global basis although this time round with a better focus of Africa-based client sites.
Joseph Spytek, co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of ITC Global, said that increasing ownership in one of the company’s key markets is a core strategic objective for ITC Global.
He added that the company has for many years invested in Africa and would continue serving is wide customer-base with the services it is renowned for.
“We will continue to increase our investment in Africa in the near term. This transaction solidifies our strong position in the attractive African market,” he said.
ITC Global’s Guinea-based office has been in operational since 2005 through an agency agreement. The location is staffed with a technical team set to deliver the company’s range of solutions.
Recently, the firm was awarded industry standard HS&E certification for the Pilbara region. According to the company, it will continue to deploy these standards in its African operations.
The new location is also expected to further provide VSAT services and support. It will also pose as a prime location in ITC Global’s new footprint.
In a statement, the company promised to continue offering full range of services locally such as mobile VSAT trailer sales and rentals.
Others services will include VSAT installation, Inmarsat satellite phone sales and rentals, Local Area Network infrastructure design and installation.
