Inuka Kenya, an entrepreneur’s crowd source platform, was voted best idea of the weekend. Their aim is to bring entrepreneurs onto one networking platform.

Geoffrey Gitonga of Inuka said the team will use the Kes 55,000 cash prize to expand their operations. The grand prize also includes a 3-month membership (top-tier) at The GrowthHub for all team members plus one permanent seat for the same period at The GrowthHub (in total valued at KES 195,000).

The most innovative and original idea was credited to Mobilab for their presentation of mVerify. The platform is built to check the originality of official documents (certificates, references, land title deeds) by cross-checking unique document identifiers such as serial numbers to their database.

Local music streaming distributor iBambe was acknowledged with an honorable mention while iMedic won the category for best demo of their patent status data capture and sharing tool.9 other teams presented their ideas.
