Code4Democracy Workshop and Hackathon

Over two days, learn and create innovative media content and platforms using rich sets of data and research. The first initiative of its kind in Kenya will focus on forming teams to create infographics, visualize data, and publish alternative media.

Maseno University Mobile Bootcamp

Mobile Bootcamp is an event organized by AkiraChix and Mobile garage to train students in various mobile programming platforms these include: SMS/USSD, Mobile Web and Android. The Mobile Garage team will be heading down to Nyanza, a Province of Kenya for a Mobile Bootcamp in Maseno University.

MOMO Cape Town @ Creative Week

Mobile Monday is an event organized by a group of dedicated volunteers from around the country. Originating in Helsinki, Finland, in the year 2000, Mobile Monday has grown into the world’s leading mobile community. MOMO is now back in Cape Town again, this time with the “Mobile Marketing Showcase” which will be happening during Creative Week. This event will be sponsored by InMobi and will showcase the most awesome mobile marketing campaigns created by some of the top digital agencies in South Africa.
