Egypt’s egabi Solutions wins Oracle Partner Award

Egyptian IT firm egabi Solutions was one of the winners revealed yesterday at the Oracle Excellence Awards 2012 Specialized Partner of the Year – EMEA.

The Egyptian company was awarded the “Specialized Partner of the Year: Middleware” prize in recognition of its vast experience in the Banking, Telecommunications and Government sectors.

egabi has established itself as a preferred supplier for industry related solutions and cross industry technical infrastructure services. The award is also in recognition of their customer references in Oracle middleware.

Hisham Sanad, Managing Director said: “egabi is honoured to be recognised as an Oracle Partner Network Specialized partner, receiving this award is a result of years of commitment, relentless efforts, dedication, and investments between Oracle & egabi; especially that egabi has been named as Oracle MEA Industry Partner for the previous year 2011-2012.

“As promised last year egabi has taken on the responsibility to maintain the same performance with quality and focus and provide the customers with an exceptional experience. This would not have been achieved without the belief and professional support we had from Oracle and we are looking forward to more fruitful engagements with Oracle for years to come.”

The company was founded in 1999, under the name of BSD (Banking Systems Development), with focus on the banking Industry. In 2007, it evolved into egabi through some capital injection and management team expansion with the aim of realizing the growth potential of the company, its stakeholders, and the regional market in general.

egabi has succeeded in expanding its reach into projects and references in Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Algeria, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Jordan, Tanzania, Palestine, Kenya, and Egypt.

“These awards recognize the Specialized partners that have consistently delivered a high level of innovation and excellence in their areas of expertise over the past year. During the judging process we looked for partners that demonstrated commitment to growing their Oracle business, enhanced their skills in the Oracle product line and have shown focus in vertical industries. We’d like to congratulate all partners on their well-deserved awards,” David Callaghan, Senior Vice President, Oracle EMEA Alliances and Channels, said.

Oracle and IDC judges recognized partners who have demonstrated outstanding performance in Specialization and innovation of Oracle-based solutions and services, and have achieved strong customer success with Oracle technology, hardware, middleware and applications.
