The inaugural Annual Software Week is a celebration and a gathering for stakeholders of a growing and maturing software industry organized by the CIO Forum in partnership with the Cape Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Cape Town Tourism It is an event for people who are passionate about the software industry and profession in Africa. It aims to create awareness of what a vibrant software industry means for the region and the broader continent of Africa.

TEDxCapeTown City2.0
When: 13th October
Where: Free World Design Centre Auditorium, 71 Waterkant St, Cape Town

TEDxCapeTown City2.0 is a TEDx event themed ‘A worldwide day of urban inspiration’. For one day only the worldwide TEDx platform – including TEDxCapeTown – will harness the power of people across the globe to encourage them to create a TEDx event themed ‘City 2.0′ – a day of urban inspiration – to be hosted in various cities at favourite local spots, featuring the brightest local minds and biggest hearts.
