Google’s third annual g|south africa event is scheduled for November 12 to 13 in Cape Town, consisting of two full-day programmes dedicated to software developers, webmasters, businesses, marketers, publishers and agencies.
Having just hosted g|Uganda in Kampala last month, the Google team will be coming to the “Mother City” for the South African event.
Google said: “On Day 1, we invite developers to learn about technologies that include HTML5 and the Google API platform, as well as explore some new ideas in development for mobile, product development and improving user experience.
On Day 2 we turn our attention to business owners, marketers, publishers and entrepreneurs and focus on the Google tools available for scaling your business, marketing it online, tracking success and measuring Return on Investment (ROI).”
The event has proved popular in the past. In Uganda’s capital Kampala it was hosted at an amusement park. 600 developers, tech entrepreneurs and small business owners participated in presentations, hands-on workshops and panel discussions during the event.
